New year and new T.H.C….kinda!
After a search for the right fit for us. We have decided to welcome Eric Matthews as a full member of The Hellfire Club as the guy driving the bus, our drummer. Eric stepped in this past summer to fill two important dates (the final show of Demons Within at The Empire and Rock for Life at the Iselin Community Park/ The American Hilljack Ranch) and proved to be a valuable asset. With Eric behind the kit our options to fatten up our set list is limitless.
2020 also brings the long awaited Ep release from The Hellfire Club.
Recorded at Neil Zaza’s “The Audio Kitchen” in Akron, Ohio over 4 days in June of 2018 with Engineer/Producer Steve Perrino. Dave Moore/Lead Guitar, John “American Hilljack” Lane/Lead Vocals, Damon Conn/Lead Guitar, Lee Heltzel/Bass along with original drummer and former member Chuck Dobbins tracked 5 originals and a cover of Kyuss’s “Green Machine”. After a year and a half T.H.C. has decided to dust these tracks off and share them with all you.
The untitled Ep will be available in the near future with one of the featured tracks “Do No Harm” (Lyric video can be found at https://www.facebook.com/thehellfireclubakronohio ). More Songs and LyricVideos from the Ep are coming even sooner. After spending the last six years playing these songs around the Tri-State Music Scene. The band is happy to finally have something to give you so you can listen to T.H.C. whenever you want. First Show of 2020: One Hellfire of a Homecoming!
Jan 25 The Hellfire Club with new drummer Eric Mathews returns to there home town after 6 months to perform at The Bank Lounge in Kenmore. And there is absolutely positively “NO COVER”. That’s right.The show is free so you have more cash for drinks, merch and that Uber Ride or even Bail. Special guests Akron Music Scene up and comers Jozey and The Corruption (whose bassist is former T.H.C. member Jeff Graham & Lead Singer/Lead Guitarist is Jozey of Akron’s L.A. Knights) as well as Olympus Monz are kicking off the bands first show of 2020.Three badass bands kickin’ ass from 9pm to 12am at one of the best bars in Akron, Ohio and the only thing you need to get in is an ID. Because the show might be free, but you got to be 21 to get into The Bank Lounge. So if your 21 or over come on out and enjoy one Hellfire of a Mothertruckin’ Time.
